This just might be the smoothest lock I've ever felt. Most times you feel the driver pins catch as they pass the pin chambers or the bottom of the keyway but this lock has zero hitch when being rotated.

I remember somebody phoning the number on the key and complaining about how it was marketed as a 6 pin lock since there are 6 pin caps but it is actually a 5 pin lock with a 5 pin key and and empty 5th chamber. They basically told him to go fly a kite and that he was lying. I wouldn't think a company like GeGe would do that.

I don't know anything about an empty 6th pin issue, however I have seen 6-pin Gege Euros before - see link below. Also, I have a 5-pin Gege euro cylinder with a more standard keyway - so it seems that they make both 5 and 6-pin cylinders.
