Big thanks to Kokomolock and Tooly. They have sent all kinds of goodies to me that will keep me busy for a very long time. It's people like these guys that make this site so great!

By watching you two guys I've managed to learn a shitload of stuff. I've never met you or talked to you (except maybe a few messages on YouTube), but watching you two guys work your Mojo has helped me enjoy this hobby even more....and made me spend more of my precious hard-earned money on locks, tools, cameras, etc.

Bastards.

;)

I couldn't agree more. I've watched both of their entire collection of vids over and over.
Thanks guys.

BTW does anyone know why bruno stopped?

I can't speak for Kokomo, but... thanks guys! Sorry I missed this.

I actually came in here to thank Farmerfreak for being a generous lock modding mad scientist. Guy has sent me a few now that are harder than alot of high security stuff!

Re: THE "THANK YOU" THREAD

I was looking for which forum was a good place to put a Thanks, glad I found this thread before embarrassing myself by posting somewhere else.

I have been lurking this forum a little while, but have been an official member for a few weeks now. I have never, ever seen a venue like this made up of people so willing to help at the drop of a dime. I came to this forum as a newbie, had a few picks, a few locks, and plenty of emotional highs and lows of opening a lock, then for the next hour not being able to do it again. I started hanging around on chat and I could instantly see how helpful people are.

Questions are answered, whether they are noob, intermediate, or advanced, with concise, helpful answers and sometimes some playful ribbing. Never with a RTFM, use search, or go away. It is great to be sitting here with a lock that is giving me trouble, and to be able to come on the chat and usually get instant feedback on tips and ideas for cracking it open.

I have been to plenty other forums that deal with everything under the sun; locks, IT, Programming, whatever and there always seems to be people who want to smear the noob into the ground. Not here. I have not run into a single person who made me feel like I don't belong or shouldn't be trying to pick up this hobby. This is truly a rare and unique community that is on Keypicking.com.

So, I would just like to thank this whole community for being who you are, simply awesome. Each and every one of you make this place interesting, unique and friendly.

A few special thanks to people though:

First, all the people who put out videos. This is such an awesome way to learn this technique. I don't have a local TOOOL or active locksport group and through these videos (and the chat of course), I can feel like I have an Awol70, KokomoLock, LocksmithArmy, FarmerFreak, ToolyMcGee or many others sitting right here beside me showing how they popped that lock and if I have a question, I can probably find them on chat and ask them directly!

KokomoLock: Super awesome dude that is so willing to help out anyone who asks. He gave me a set of picks because he really wants to help people learn this skill. Then, when he forgot to send them, he send me basically a care package of locks to give me lots of interesting things to pick in the upcoming months!! All this, just out of the goodness of his heart, to help someone out. You my friend, are simply awesome.

elbowmacaroni: Totally awesome guy to hang out with on chat and always willing to help with anything. Thanks for keeping this forum going!

Magician59: I posted looking for a change key and he came to my rescue. He didn't want any money, just said 'Pay it Forward'. That is great and I will defiantly pay it forward!

Last but not least:
Hallis: Thanks for hosting, owning, paying, giving, just everything you do for this site. I do appreciate everything.

Everybody, keep doing what you do and continue making this an awesome place to hang out and learn!
