Huge collection of lockpicking images

Most of the more experianced users probably know this trick but I thought I would mention it here for the newbies.

In google go to search images

http://images.google.ca/imghp?hl=en&tab=wi

enter lockpicks and you get a lot of lockpicks and other stuff

However the command "site:xyx" permits you to filter on just one site.
site:keypicking.com

will show all kinds of jpgs that the users here have posted

site:lockpickshop.com

sites:lockpicking101.com

has like thousands.

Its an easier way to see what is happening on other sites without reading through a lot of text messages

sites: will also work in the general web search mode to. searching for information on webpages can be easier using the google sites: as some webpages indexing is not as good as what google provides.

Re: Huge collection of lockpicking images

Yeah, this is a good method for searching a specific site. Not to mention, the only way to accurately search lp101 since their search is broken, and I suspect deliberately, as there are many posts from before they brought on their "Advanced" section that would be in there if you browse the old posts. But fortunately, that is not needed here as our search function actually works!

Also, for those who don't know google has more ways to narrow your search results.
For example:
Putting a '+' before a word in your search means that the word is required.
Putting a '-' before a word excludes that word from your search.
For these, do not include a space between the +/- and the word.
Putting '"'s around a phrase causes exact matches to the phrase to be weighted higher in the search results, and the +/- work with the quoted phrases too, just be sure to put it OUTSIDE, but directly against the opening quote.
Also very common words unless within a quoted phrase are thrown out (i.e. the, and, or, etc...)

Thats handy stuff to know too. Many a time ive spent bloody ages trolling through results and hardly any relevance to what i was looking for.

Nice one. :)
