Why don't you refinance with a fixed-rate mortgage? Interest rates are getting lower now, especially for those who have good credit.

There's only one UK bank (HSBC) offering fixed rate at the moment and restricted to 80% I'm on 100%

well i'm from the UK and i know that Alliance & Leicester offers a fixed rate and i'm pretty sure Lloyds do too
