Re: My favorite toy catalog

Thanks for posting that. The majority of the electronic items are within the capabilities of the advanced hobbyist, including the GSM interceptors (there have been some Defcon talks on those).

The optical microphone is ingenious: it uses a membrane on the end of a fiber optic as a microphone, to avoid detection by metal detectors or electronics detectors. I also liked the glue covered microphone that you shoot out of a paintball gun onto some window on the 3rd floor of a building.

And the Terahertz Imaging System... never saw anything like that before. I guess it's like a thermal camera but for much lower wavelengths.

And... I really hope the lamp with the covert listening device in it doesn't actually have the PKI logo printed on the side. :???:

Re: My favorite toy catalog

Looks to me more like terror equipment than anti-terror equipment.
In case you wonder ... Martin Hewitt is a fictional detective in stories by Arthur Morrison:
Martin Hewitt, Investigator Chronicles of Martin Hewitt

Wow PKI sent me an email with a catalog link.

Dear Sir,
