Day 314 of 366. Today was a long day... so I needed an easy and old Burg padlock.

Cheers :)

The solution was so obvious, none of us bothered mentioning it :halfdiamond:

To be honest, the first time I tried with the half diamond i failed. That's why I tried the hook. But I was not happy, so had to do it again with my favourite :)

Day 316 of 366. Here's another lock I've never opened before. I've opened others like it but not this one. The bittings is so difficult that I had a hard time lifting the short pins in the back, with long ones in the middle. This challenge made me try again and again until it was open.

Cheers :)

Thank you just1pick+open, it's nice to know I'm still in good company! I have to choose carefully the last locks.

Day 317 of 366. New locks give such crisp feedback. This MTL Interactive was a pleasure to open.

Cheers :)

Day 318 of 366. A Maxis lock clone. I used a half finished tension wrench experiment. I wanted to cold bend it, but didn't get the shape I wanted. It turned out useful with this cylindrical keyhole.

Cheers :)

Day 320 of 366. Here is another lock I've never opened before. Looks like they're much more than I thought.

Cheers :)

I decided to leave them in a picked position now that I managed to get my hands on more locks. I'd lose track otherwise and you have a much bigger collection than I have :)

This lock I saw in a bypass video of Bosnian Bill, I think. Did you try that?

edocdab, I know there's a bypass but didn't try it.
Good idea to leave them open, I prefer to lock mines so sometimes I'm not sure if I've opened one lock or not. Now I write their number like 321/366 with a red permanent marker on the ones of this challenge.

Day 321 of 366. There are days when you think you're a genius and make a prototype tool. Then realize the tool doesn't work.
I got so angry at the lock and SPP it with a wishbone tensioner and a broken pick. Had to try different locations for the tensioner, until I found two short pins and used that spots. The pick is so small I could even set the pins where the tensioner was sitting.
It took me a while to make it turn. I could feel the plug rotate slightly every time I pushed a pin. Some of them needed a hundred little pushes to set them properly. I was going to give up but felt it turning so I kept at it.
This is another lock I've never opened before.

Cheers :)

Cool tool and worth trying. Is it me or does the key look rusty? I am working sometimes on a similar tool for impressioning odd sized tubular locks. No success so far! I'll have to put in a lot more effort to make something useful out of it, but you gave me some inspiration with this picture :)

Yes, the key is a bit rusty. I'm happy to inspire you. I hope your tool will work better than mine!

Day 322 of 366. Nice old American 50. I wanted to make a key for it but was not able to remove the core, even after removing the screw under the shackle.

Cheers :)
