What exactly makes you think this is suspicious?

I fail to see why he'd want it undamaged if he had just stolen the safe and wanted the contents.
Usually they just take the safe out to some remote area and beat on it until it opens.

I shouldn't be judgmental, but I'm making a whole lot of assumptions based on the quality of the English and sentence structure.
It is time... stand up for a constitutional America. Without it, we have shed blood in vain.

I also made the same assumption. More power to him/her if someone does open it (without damage) for $20. The question is actually a rhetorical question.

A damage free opening for $20 is perhaps a little optimistic!

I doubt they would've posted a picture showing a serial number(second picture) if the safe was stolen.

Using that language when spelling and grammar checkers are near ubiquitous and the expectation of a Mas Hamilton NDE for 20 bucks might get takers, there is doubt that their IQ is closer to a contact point than shoe size.

In the picture, it looks like a big round magnet stuck to the door. Looks like they have already failed to get it open, fishing for a solenoid.
