Hello I'm new I'm a father of two Hyper Focus kids
to lock pick ADHD hyperfocus don't mix...lol..well
Now I know what you're going to say this is not a good idea but my kids are both teens and stright A's well both of them kids have been find your possible asking for and watching YouTube videos on how to lock pick for the last 3 to 4 years and bugging me for a big learning pick set. So I just want to get a good quality tool so any recommendations I want this pic to be with them for a while drop some links I'm looking on spending 300

Or get your kids some files and a dremel and tell them to make their own tools. That's what I did at that age, minus the dremel.

Look up lockpicking lawer and follow the links in his videos for pocket sets, I don't have first hand experience but I would doubt the stuff he touts on every video to be too bad.
Many like sparrows lockpicks, I think the owner is a nob and would never buy again but as I say many like them.

I still have my original southord set that I use daily which i bought 25 years ago now, many don't like them but they've earnt me a lot of money over that time.

A dremel and some hacksaw blades is the best advice so far

As already hinted at it very much depends where you live and what locks you want to play with. Us locks for example will have bigger keyways than UK locks so pick thickness is important.
Chinese locks are extremely easy to open so simple pick forms are all that's needed whereas European locks require better shaped tips to get around security pins.

I wouldn't spend too much, reading about the issues your children have might not be a good mix for a hobby that require a lot if patience and hand dexterity.
Go cheap and see how they take to it.

Ah, fair enough, good to know. As i say I haven't any experience of them, never even looked to be honest and I got so tired of him shamelessly plugging his tools every video I don't even watch him anymore.

if you are in the UK, look at law lock tools, if in the usa look at jimmy longs, moki also an option, not sure where they are.
