lockable chain link

I't's not strickly picking related, but I think it's a cool lock :)

I was looking into handcuffs and bypasses and stuff and I stumbled across the Eisenjörg lockable chain link

That might be a great idea for Magic Chain Escape trick you could use someones lock so not to be suspect the lock is tricked or think you have a key. You could get the link open behind your back and slip that locking link into you back pocket. Then give out the chain and lock for inspection. :pimpmofo:

If you are interested in studying handcuffs, I highly recommend buying the single cuff with transparent side allowing a view of the internals. By far the best price is at Handcuff Warehouse ($9.95) and their shipping is very reasonable. You can buy the matching cuffs for around $16 although importing might be a problem.

The single cuff has a double lock feature and double pawl mechanism for more difficulty in shimming.

I read a book about some spetacular robbery in england where such a link was used to make a chained gate on heathrow airport into an escape route.
just cant remember the particulars.
