Hey Guys!

Check out this beauty! A Stainless Steel, Heavy duty ANKEH Cruciform tubular padlock, with a thick Anti-cut Shackle. It is also key retaining and has a ball bearing holding the shackle. It's super dense and rugged! It probably weighs around 2 pounds/ 1 kilogram.

The locksmith I bought this from said he has had this lock since the 90's! The kicker is that is is Grand Spanking NEW-- it was still in the packaging when I bought it! It is in Excellent condition and works like butter!

It looks like this functions like a four-pin barrel lock, rather than a cruciform cylinder with two or three pins per side. Is that right?

Haha~ It's true~ I have been very lucky!

Seriously though, these finds have come from A Lot of exploring and digging through many lock shops and hardware stores.

Many of the stores here are very old and family run so sometimes I can find stock of things that have not been touched in years!

I'll continue to look and share any cool treasures!

If I find extras I will try and get them to make them available to you guys!

(much of which I'd have trouble picking I'll bet!)... which makes it all the more sexy.
