Flea Market Score!

i was pretty excited to find this schlage everest padlock at a local flea market (mainly because it was the only lock i could find :akimbo: ). didn't come with any keys but that wasnt too much of a bummer considering the price. now time to make a new tool for that side pin thingamajiga and pick this bad boy!

Re: Flea Market Score!

You mentioned it wasn't too pricey, would you share how much did you pay for this score?

Re: Flea Market Score!

Just stick a thin tension wrench in under the overhang to lift the side pin, and pick it normally.

Re: Flea Market Score!

If you want it rekeyed let me know! I have plenty of Everest precut keys, assuming it's C123 keyway.

FYI Jeff if you ever need a different bitting or a bitting by code for the C123 you can directly copy an SC4 to an Everest blank and it will work. I do this all the time at work. When I need C123 by code I punch it out on an SC4 and duplicate onto the C123.

Re: Flea Market Score!

I've been known to do that, the opposite way even...had a bunch of Everest precuts and needed some 6 pin C keyway, so I copied them :D
