JBMKL Lock (sorry pics are kinda huge)

Hey all, long time no post, nothing interesting going on I guess, not until today, So I got this lock today from a friend, it's stamped on the dial J.B.M.K.L. CO KENT. O. it's gummy as hell and the dial barely spins. I'm looking for opinions on how to clean it up and get it open and functional once again. it's in decent shape but shows some wear and lots of weathering.

Hey Mike. Good to see ya around.

Sounds like the first order of business is to free up the dial. But keep in mind...
most of these locks come to a positive stop after turning in one direction for a
revolution or two. Just thought I'd mention that cause if you think the dials just
stuck and force past it, you're apt to do some damage.

Also, if you're able to make out the #'s on the lock and/or shackle,
someone around here is likely to look up the combination for you.

Or, you could play around with it yourself. I've been
opening some of them by using audio amplification.

Oldfast, thanks for the reply, the dial does move, it's just got the consistency of some of our fine Canadian maple syrup, when we hit our average march temperature of -20C, there's no numbers that i've found yet, just 'patents applied for' and 'made is usa' on the back of the lock. I've not forced anything, but can't say what's been done to it previously.

I'm doing a little looking right now, but i'm not too sure of the rarity / value of this little bugger so i don't want to do too much cleanup on it yet. Which is why I'm asking on here first
