More Yale Locks

I have several Yale locks and wanting to know if anyone has any information on Yale locks. The logos are all a little different style and I can't seem to find any information on dates they used a particular logo. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Here are some pics of some of my Yale's. Picture number 4 is a file cabinet lock.

Re: More Yale Locks

I don't have any info for you unfortunately, but I do want to say that's an awesome little
collection of Yales! I will poke around the internet in the morning though and see if I can dig anything up.
Naaapaalm...sticks to kids...it sticks to the belly and it sticks to the ribs...
See those kids standing by the lake...drop some napalm and watch them bake.

Re: More Yale Locks

The one's with the sliding bolt were common for cupboard doors and drawers.

Re: More Yale Locks

i wish i could tell you more than thanks for posting this. it shows the intricacies of the logos, and the individuality of the locks themselves .
i'd bet these locks hold many tales .
i hope oldlock can shed some light on this as well.

Re: More Yale Locks

As you may have guessed they can be dated (roughly) by the style of the markings and edge of the cylinder. However I cannot find the information at present and it may be that I don't have it anymore having just sold my collection almost to the last item .......
