Had a customer come into the shop today with a lock I did not think I had a key for. I traded him cylinders to get him going and after some digging found the proper key blank for the cylinder and made a key for it. Here is about all the info I could find on Barrows on the internet. And no I have not picked it YET!!

"Sager Lock Works And Barrows Lock Works, Divisions Of The Yale & Towne Manufacturing Company, a Corporation, And Builders' Hardware Workers Of Waukegan, Illinois, a Corporation, 967 (1940)"

Nice find, Kokomo! I did a ton of those when I was in Lafayette and Cincinnati.

Nice lock kokomo, I really like it... has a lot of character. If Yale is responsible for it, that'd certainly explain why you haven't gotten it yet... those things just don't like you do they?

Thanks for that!!! I probably will never pick it since it was made by the Yale Company!! No there are no security pins in it!

I've forgotten a lot of stuff over the last couple decades; but I seem to remember a sort of serrated top pin used in those old locks.

Not in this one, I wish it had some crazy security pins. Here a couple of pictures of the pins, also the plug is the larger .560" diameter.
