Found the service manual for the Keymark Security Leg locks, lots of good info and diagrams:

I'm in love. Man that old hexagon best is just Prime stuff I'm so jealous. Is the other one old aluminum? If so I bet she is form ww2 era when they were asked to cut back on brass use. But I'm not positive on that so don't quote me.

I have a couple keyed cylinders for the Schlage wafer lock (original model # was A53WD). I made a complete study of the lock back in the day. Matter of fact, it was my diligent study of the thing that helped me land my first job as an apprentice some 30 years ago. The owner handed a lock just like that all in pieces, in a baggie. He told me to reassemble it and set it to the key, also in the baggie. I did it in about three minutes. He was so impressed that he offered me the job without further interview!

this lock was deemed "unpickable" upon its release and remained that way for a number of years,correct?

I believe you're right. But we all know, now, that such a claim by a manufacturer isn't always true. Just like some of the old Harleys, to impression a key for one of these beauties, you only have to get your marks once. Also, as far as I know, it's the only keyed lock that is master keyed by REMOVING tumblers!

some neat old keys found in a crawlspace
starting at the far left,clockwise,
an unknown barrel key, (my guess is a china cabinet key.)
two flat steel keys,
a Briggs & Stratton,
a Corbin,
and three Presto (two of which are identical,one of which has opposite warding)
Are these a type of push key?
any info on these would be appreciated.
(MODS if this belongs in a different thread ,please let me know...)

those three slightly resemble old equipment keys, they look like ignition keys for an old tractor I once ran for a guy, I may be wrong, as for push keys, I am not sure what they are.

I don't think those are push keys. I had a briefcase that used a very similar key and the horizontal cut in the key was just for a ward in the lock.

The yales are all wafers, and the corbin on the left is a wafer lock but the wafers are all stuck, the big corbin is a pin tumbler it has very tight tolerances, and weird warding in the keyway, a little tricky to pick, I picked all of them except for the little corbin. I don't know if the big corbin has any security pins or not, anybody know what this has in it?

Bought me an older U.S Navy Padlock, or that's how it's marked anyway, it's made by Corbin, it was an easy pick, 4 pin lock, and I don't think any security pins. Real clean lock
