This patent on this Lock was filed in 1981 in Taiwan.

Another crazy lock! They just keep coming*. I was asking Blacky (middle East) a while ago to do some scouting round for weird locks, it is from the places we have least communication with, right? I bet places like Saudi Arabia and Africa have loads more cool locks, just waiting to be discovered. I will not be going looking for them myself any time soon though! Marduk, get on your bike mate!

Twice now I have loaded up my bike with so many locks that the weight made me lose my balance and fall off~ True story!

I do wonder what kind of interesting locks are used in different parts of the world!

I think Asia specifically has a special relationship with locks. It might have some historical connection~ but I do not really know the details.
