Need Sargent Help

What keyway is this or rather what blank fits this 6 pin Sargent?

Wow, that is a very old cabinet lock. It looks like one of the L series, if you have an LN blank, see if that fits.
I have most of the individual keyway blanks, if you want to send the lock with my other stuff, I can try and find a blank and send everything back.

I'm thinking either a LE or a LH will work as well

Yeah, I wasn't 100 percent sure which section, looked like it could be anything from LE on.

Jeff, I'm thinking that the LF and LG will bind on the right side due to the inside right angle corner on the key. Also LJ, LK, LL have a half round on the left side of the key which will bind. The LH is a sub master for the LE, LF, LG series, which makes me think either the LE, or the LH or the Grand master LN would be his options. Mark

Jeff unfortunately its not mine. My local hardware/locksmith buddy gave it to me to practice impression with 2 blanks that fit however after a closer look the blanks wont work. He doesnt know Sargent as well as you, thats why i figured to try you guys. Plus it would be easier if I tell him what blank i need for it.

I could tell by the sargent logo that its old. Has been laying around his shop for some time.

Impressioning with the LN key doesn't sound like much fun, those keys are very thin and most are nickel-silver, which can make finding a mark difficult

Any impressioning is fun for me and it cant be any thinner than the master 15 with the m10 blank that I did. The blank I had super super thin.

Thanks so very much guys, the LE fit in like butter and I got it in brass. I didnt have much time but one pass and all 6 left good marks on the blank. Gonna go finish it up today, pics tomorrow.

I also gutted it to see if there was anything special inside and someone did service it. All of the chambers had master pins but #2 & 4 had key pins as drivers.

Sweet cylinder! She looks like a real showpiece! Obviously I can't help you out but it seems like you have the right blanks to get her spinning. It sucks living in the GWN our acquisitions are so tough to come by,

Good luck with the impressions and if you can find out some history on that princess I would love to hear it.

If it was that old the Ilco 1010 key would fit in it, I doubt it is over 50 years old
