What locks is this? Antique?

Got this lock as part of a lot from ebay. I did some cleaning and soaked it in vinegar for 30 something hours. Brushed it after but some of the paint is still there but no rush. Good looking lock but I know nothing about it and googling the name didnt yield anything. Do anyone know what locks this is, what year, if its rare, what key goes for it or how to open it?

Wow so this thing is that old? Over 100 years? amazing, so old yet in such good shape. Good thing I didnt go sand paper crazy on this one and used a light wire brush. Any idea on how to make a key or what a lock like this may be worth? Thanks for the info and link!!!

I have an old friend who collects antique padlocks. He takes a piece of brass bar stock and removes everything that doesn't look like a key
with his bench grinder & then drills the hole for the barrel portion. Then you can impression the key to fit your padlock. Lauren has some
very good instructions on the forum that shall remain unnamed, for making these keys.

Just so you know, there is no proscribed way to makes the key correctly. You can easily use a steel rod with a hole drilled into it's front, with a steel piece for the bit & silver soldered in place, using a propane (or mapp gas) torch

Last crazy temple lock key I had to copy was mostly done at the welder-- the bit started out 3/8" thick and I just ground the bitting out with my dremel tool and a file. He secured the two together & made a loop out of some round steel rod for the bow I got $135 for that thing too!

Those Victorians put some nasty bottom wards in their locks. Fun locks if they are not rusted out. Simple slide bolt design.
