And that design is still made today. Here is one about 15-20 years old from India that was given to me by a lockie who could not get it open. Made the key and took it back, and was told to keep it. :)

I have one my wife bought me about 20 years ago.
It has a folding key with loop for keyring.
Wasn't impressed with it when I got t but now it seems kind of cool.
