M W Co. Lock worth??????

I just received an old MW Co. pad lock from my research thus far it dates back to somewhere between
1834 and 1913. It was rusted but I've been able to get some of the rust removed and got the shackle
loosened up. But since there is no key I haven't been able to pick it open. My question is does anyone
know what this lock is worth? This is a link to see what the lock looks like however mine is not this pristine.
http://www.antique-padlocks.com/eight_db_h-q.htm Scroll down to see the one that says M.W.Co. Eight Lever.
Any additional help on this would be appreciated.

Hate to break the news: But if it's truly an antique, you just devalued it by at least half, by removing the rust.
