Re: BF3 PC Players

I played pretty seriously for a while but I gave up on it.

I think DICE didn't really deliver on what they hyped up to the PC community and their really slow patching and condescending attitude to their community regarding issues / desired changes totally turned me off. They built a middle of the road game to try and satisfy both hardcore BF fans and draw in CoD fans. I was one of the BF fans they lost in the process.

The whole experience actually soured me on gaming enough to realize that I spend too much time in front of a screen already with work so I sold my kick ass PC and haven't looked back since.

End rant.

So, in summary, nope no BF3 PC for me. If I did still have a PC, Arma 2 would be the military game I'd be playing (quirks and all). Arma 3 is coming out this sometime in the next year or so. I'd keep an eye on that one if you want modern military combat with more of an eye for wide open terrain, realism, simulation & tactics than BF3.
