Yale Dimple lock

I found the dimple padlock at an Electrical supply store. 15 dollars. It's has no markings to tell me what the model is. Anyways, here's some pictures of it. If anyone knows what the model number is, lemme know. Thanks.

Re: Yale Dimple lock

I actually got it open in about 15 seconds (the first pic is it picked, just not turned all the way), it was kind of disappointing. First dimple lock I've picked so far.
There are no identifying marks on the lock or the key. Could it perhaps be a knockoff?

Re: Yale Dimple lock

Think I have that exact one. Stands about 3 inches tall.

It's a beautiful lock. I'm a sucker for the shrouded ones :)

Sorry, I too have no idea of the exact model number though.

Re: Yale Dimple lock

Don't waste your time on these locks. They're cheap and easy to pick. I got one about five years ago, stuck the handle of lock pick inside the keyway and applied a little jiggle motion. The lock opened.
I got one from a hardware store that sells close out merchandise. This hardware store still sells them for about $12.00. A nice looking lock for stainless, but again, it sucks. The one in this post is missing the blue protective collar. Master Lock did something similar years ago. I picked these locks the same way.

Nice looking lock. Have you tried removing that screw on the side?
