I sppd it yesterday, and was surprised when I saw what was inside.
I cant remember where i got this cylinder lol
Has anynone seen a cylinder like this before?
I the keyway reminds me of assa, but i havent testet with a assa key yet.
Found some information about it in the practial lock picking book by deviant ollam

Its a Swedish lock (I think) and Deviant Ollam sells them on his website. Can't find a website for "Dejo".

The Dejo brand is owned by Swedish company A.M. de Jong. The company name comes from the founder Adrian Matteus de Jong. The Dejo brandname is derived from the company name (de Jong). I am unclear why MU deJong appears on the company website, I suspect it may be part of a re-branding campaign commenced after they were acquired by the EMMU Group in 1999.

The Dejo brandname is associated with the mars/male astrological sign (♂), why, I don't know. It appears on the face of the lock and in the product literature.

A catalogue of their lock cylinders can be found here (Swedish). If I could read Swedish I could tell you more, more easily than using Google Translate. :smile:

I would like to get one of their cylinders cheaper than Deviant Ollam is asking. If you have a source put me down for one.

Many assa-copies has those pins(at least many of those i have seen)
but then again...those pins look identical to mine lol

Maybe these are all the same cylinder and the company that makes them licenses them out and allows other companies to re-brand them.

MU is Moller Undall, a Norwegian company based in Drammen. http://www.mu.no/english.htm

The cataloguoe states that the DeJo cylinder has a "HH" profile, making it an ASSA-copy.

Biltema sells a a pair of a very similar lock for 249 Swedish Kroners(SEK)(Google: 38 USD) http://www.biltema.se/sv/Bygg/Las/Ovrig ... linderset/. I have one, and can gut it for reference if there is a call for it. I am not sure if Biltema ships overseas.

I thought the unmarked Biltema locks were "second tier" ASSAs? Atleast they have exactly this pinning. Maybe ASSA bought Dejo also :-)

Biltema also sells what's clearly rebranded Dorma locks... the ones that say Elite. Evil profile - I have only picked the Dorma DC500 with the somewhat nicer ASSA 700 profile though they aren't easy either.
They have some really nice pinning - mix of :assa:

, "half spools", and normal pins. Plus countermilled chambers and torpedo keypins.
