Re: A little book I wrote

I just finished reading your book, and I would pay for a hard cover copy (or 2 depending on price)
it really helped me understand graphing, after reading it all just sort of clicked.
now I just have to get a lock in front of me to see if I can put it to practice.

Re: A little book I wrote

Welcome! I'm glad I could help make it all click :) I'm afraid it'll be a little while before an actual published book comes out but when it does, I promise it'll be worth the wait! I have to get up revenue to get more safe locks and time to experiment with them. It's a great hobby, good luck to you!

Safecracking.JPG

Just got my book. Had trouble with Amazon, shipping date kept getting pushed back. Ended up getting it through Barnes and Nobel.
So much nicer having it in book form.
Had the wife reset the combo after my first attempt at manipulation.(Combo now Unknown).
Now armed with your book.
Thanks

Re: A little book I wrote

Anyone that's read my book, do you think you could write an honest review of it on amazon? I currently only have 1 review. I'm not looking for all 5 star reviews, honesty is more important to me; how well of a job do you think I did in conveying how to safecrack?

Thanks!

-Jared

Re: A little book I wrote

Still no more reviews? Maybe it takes a while for them to get posted on Amazon?

Re: A little book I wrote

Dagger,
I have a question, on page 31.
There is example of a High-low test.

Low test:
L57.5 R67.5 R67.5 RCP: 6 LCP: 96.5 Contact 9 1/2
R67.5 L57.5 R67.5 RCP: 6 1/4 LCP: 96.5 Contact 9 3/4

So that's the whole test or the Low test?

Then the next two lines would be the high test?

L57.5 R67.5 R67.5 RCP: 6 1/4 LCP: 96 3/4 Contact 9 1/2
R67.5 L57.5 R67.5 RCP: 6 1/2 LCP: 96 1/2 Contact 9 1/2

and if it is the high test, wouldn't the test number be 77.5?

:???:

Re: A little book I wrote

Hey Jharvee,

I think you are correct. The second test is the high test and the number should be 77.5.

I noticed that as well. A minor typo but still great information!

Great!
I was going crazy.
Thank God.

Thanks for the answer I was looking for.

Now I can nail down which wheel this number is on....... then off to brute forcing the first.

Re: A little book I wrote

Thanks for pointing that out! Yeah, it's supposed to be 77.5 for the second one which is high testing.
