Cool safe!
I have almost the exact same safe. Mine's black with gold trim, but other than that it's the same.
It was my Grandfather's back when he dealt in jewelry and coins. now I use it for a (hopefully) fireproof storage for papers documents etc.
If you want to see pics, I can upload some.
Anyone know when these were made? 1800's, 1900's etc?

They were made from the mid 1800's to about the mid 1900's that way I believe. I don't believe it's very fireproof, it is most likely concrete inside, so as long as the safe isn't in the middle of the fire, you should be ok.

Thanks Keymaster. Yeah, it's concrete inside. I've cleaned the workings up and she works awesome. Built like a brick shithouse though!
