I am starting a thread here for anyone and everyone to upload any pictures of the locks in their collection, specifically the Mechanical combination safe locks.

The aim of this is to hopefully, over time, collate as comprehensive and detailed as possible list and catalogue of the various makes models styles and intricacies of the multitude of differing locks, and by doing so, aid and facilitate the identification of an unknown lock for anyone interested in doing so in the future.

I am going to begin this list with one of the main 'go-to' locks in the Group 2 category; the LaGard 3330...

Paid 10 dollars for an old damaged fire safe in hope some day I'll find the hinges that were cut off and be able to repair it. Until then I installed on a small mount so I could have some fun trying to manipulate it.

Am I right in thinking this is a screw change lock? How do they compare with manipulating a spring fence mechanism...?

The National Guide to Safe Manipulation labels it a "Hole Change" type safe lock.
So far I'm 0 for 5 attempts at free spinning. It is a tiny dial and lock for that matter. The last photos shows the wheels are just a wee bit larger than my thumb.
It has three wheels and a drive cam. Normal drop in area and contact points are felt. I have not really given it the respect that I normally would when manipulating, in turn the lock has punished me for it. Time to get out the graph paper, pencil and magnifying glass.

The Meilink E504 is similar to, if not the same, as an S&G 8110.

Hope this takes you to the Thread that was written by Droshi. Gives a lot of detail on how this lock behaves. I know very little about the lock other than I had to have one after reading his thread. For the now it's a cool paper weight. Fun to spin and listen to the click clack.

Kromer Novum. I assume it is from a Tann safe. With the key in place the gates and anti-picks are aligned. This is because they made these by sticking the final key into a blank lever pack and then milling gates and anti-picks.
