First successful manipulation for me. This is on a safe inside a Mosler insulated record container (c. 1950's)
I haven't seen pics of this style out there with the integrated latch/fence.
There are no model markings on it.
Anyone know more about these?

looks like a B101-F. just happens to be the lock inside a Mosler file cabinet fire safe with receding door (butterfly key locking handle) that i am currently bidding on at an on-line auction site.
other similar Mosler locks are : KCB-107, S-201, KCB-104, KCB-401.
the B-101 was used in 1940s-50s in round doors, vault doors, and fire safes.

Sorry, I'm not much help on identifying it.
But congrats on a successful opening!
Felt pretty damn good I'm sure?!

Yeah, then I had to go buy another safe to try again...
So I got this with two locks. It was locked and no combination.

It took about three hours. The bottom lock ended up being the same :(
I gotta quit buying safes! :spinning:
