I purchased this lock off ebay because i thought it was cool, no combination or key for it, and i was wondering if there is any possible way to figure out the combination? 867 is stamped on the back side of the shackle and there is 520 stamped on the left side of the body

You'll want to talk to Oldfast about popping that puppy, he's the resident dial padlock guy.

Odds are very good that someone here will use the #'s you posted
to look up the combo for your lock. This is probably your best bet.
My attempts involve listening with the aid of an amplifier.
You can take a look at the thread if your interested.
I've had mixed results and is still experimental.

100% with J.B Millers, but more like a 50/50 kinda thing with the Gouglers.
But not much of a test group for either - so my findings aren't accurate yet.

Twenglish, try L4-R4-L6-R3. Count the clicks, not the numbers on the face. You may turn all the way to right several times to a positive stop, or your lock may not have a stop, in which case you would turn rurn right several turns and stop at 0 then turn left counting the clicks to unlock. Mark

I am trying to help my Mom with her old Gougler lock. The number on the body is 983 the number on the shackle is 619. Anyone know how to look up her old combination?

Re: Gougler Keyless Combination lock
OldBiscuit saves the day! Was able to get me the right combination. My Mom says that my Grandfather had bought the lock for her when she was in school for $1. She was constantly annoyed using it because she was often taken from class to go re-lock her locker since someone else had figured out her combination and kept unlocking her locker. So this lock hadn't been opened up in about 58 years! I have been attempting to open it since the days before I was ever online in the 80's. I had a slap to the forehead moment when OldBiscuit told me what to use. I hadn't counted on doubles. I just about had guessed all the positions just missed that point. She was thrilled to find out that it still works all these years later. Thanks again OldBiscuit! You're pretty popular, even on other web sites!
