Louisiana safe job

Ok so here is what I'm about to go to Louisiana to open. Has anyone ever done one like this? My friend told me that it was a "chinese knock-off" brand of the S&G. Looks pretty easy...right? I guess I'm just nervous because I don't want to look like an idiot and not get it open with that mean looking bull dog staring at me in the face the whole time. Any and all tips are appreciated...

I'm sure you can drill it open in under a half-hour
I'd rip that dial off for step one & drill under the dial ring for a nice "invisible" opening

The Chinese make a wide variety of Wun Hung Lo Locks, with an amazing variety of dials and dial rings.

It may just be a Wn Hung Lo dial, but it very likely has a matching Chinese made lock.

Jones did you drop that line just to wind me up? LOL

Good luck in Louisiana. If nothing else you'll have a nice road trip no doubt.

I tried an image search but nothing came up through Google

Lol thanks. Yeah one of those said "manipulation resistant" whatever that means. I guess I'll find out. I really don't want to drill it...

I think the safe is a 'Gardall' and the lock is a ILCO unican, or if it's replaced, could be a 6730

I've seen the bulldog a few times.

That means it CAN be manipulated... but it doesn't want to be...

It's always easier to cover the injury when it can't be seen

I see you are from TX. is this for a friend? or a job? if for a friends and tinkering around i dont see a problem but like TX we are a licensed state. Your tx licence will not cover you here and its a pretty serious deal. just trying to help you out dont think im getting onto you.just be careful. we have a few locksmiths in town in jail for practicing without a licence
