Securing a garage door

ARF-GEF, I installed one of those hasps on a sliding metal door once. It's a serious chunk of metal. The hasp + the padlock might put me over budget for this project.

Cracker, is ChemFix a UK product? It looks pricey. Is there a cheaper alternative? U bolts seem like a good idea if I can find the right size. And the good thing about those is that they're threaded, which means I can put a nut on each side so that the whole thing better grips whatever adhesive I sink it into. That adhesive is what I'm most concerned about.

Expanding dynabolts etc. can be epoxied in.

just thought went to a job last year had the same electric roller garage door ..... I wonder ? had to go threw two mortise locks on a fire door to get into the garage

ChemFix is just a trade name... you should be able to find something cheaper. Its just a 2 part epoxy that mixes as you apply it. Any industrial/construction epoxy based resin will bond incredible strongly. You're more likely to rip up a chunk of the concrete or snap the steel before it gives way!!

I'd seen that bypass before and thought it was pretty dandy. I actually need to employ it on a job next week, only difference being that this door doesn't have the benefit of windows. Also, I just looked at my own garage door and it's got a bar across the top to prevent that kind of attack.

Even if there is no window, most of the garage doors have a "Pull Cord" attached to the Release latch. Use it.
Worth a Try.
Could drill a peep hole.
Air wedge Top or bottom of door to use mirror.
