Another antique combo lock

Here's another combination padlock I just picked up. It's a Hoffman Packard Carter Co, from Boston Mass. The patent date is Dec 3 1895. It's not a big lock, it measures 2.75 in tall. 1.75 in wide. .625 in thick.It has 3 dials, 2 on the front and 1 on the back. Hpoe you all like it as much as I do. Mark

That is very unusual the dial pulls down so the shackle can swing out. Never seen one like that before great find! Does both front and back dial both pull down or just the front one?

both pull down, kind of a different desing, but not real secure
