cut-aways up for trade.

I have a few cut-aways up for sale or trade. I am looking for picks and other locks to do cut-aways on. I am also looking for high security locks to do cut-aways on.

I think it's Blu Tack with embedded grit and grime.

But they are cool cutaways.

Re: cut-aways up for trade.

The dirty ice thing is a block of polishing compound that i used to prop up the locks so the light would hit them in the right spots guess i could have found something better to use lol . You know i never even thought about it looking like snow. It was ether that or a dirty oil stained wood table.

Re: cut-aways up for trade.

im liking that mortise, but i dont want anything where the plug is cutaway, cuz i dont want the tollerances affected. i never made a cutaway, but i was thinking about doing a genuine schlage mortise i just got from ebay. im good with a dremel, but thats all i got. wish i had a mill.

about how much would you charge to make a cutaway out of my schlage mortise 6 pin? i would really only need it to be cut to see the driver pins, at the base of the sheer line. no cylindrical cuts.

oh... this is the lock.
