New Klom 32 set Is this an improvement?

Klom has releasesd a new 32 piece set in a hard plastic box with the picks stored in their own dividers keeping each pick easy to select.
There is a video on the page that shows a bit more how it is set up.

Re: New Klom 32 set Is this an improvement?

The plastic case isn't the only difference. The handles are now made from a softer, rubbery material rather than a rigid plastic and the pick blades are now made from a shiney steel (whereas the original one's had a dull galvanised appearance). Worth buying? Well they are shiney so if you like shiney things then you will be happy :) IIRC I paid US$30 from one of the online East Asian wholesale outlets (I think it was http://www.dhgate.com). It's good value for money in that regard. The case is cool, it is like a drill-bit case and the picks are at least as good as the originals so I'd say it's an improvement over the original.
