This was a restoration and new key made for a cotterill padlock. In this case I used an antique bow and the rest of the key was made from scratch.

This was a repair on the detachable bit for a Hobbs changeable bank lock. It needed a new 'shaft' as the original one was cracked.

This was a commission. The cast blank below is the largest such commercial blank that was available. The upper key was fabricated from scratch. The bow and bit being silver soldered.

Lastly, a pair of Bramah keys made for a safe lock. I've made probably 100's of such keys over the years and photographed very few of them, but these pictures provide some examples of what can be done with silver solder and emery cloth.

great work guys love old locks and the history,hobbs was a clever chap indeed,he picked other rivals locks to sell his own.
