I like your previous hook, made from a steel knife. It's really cool! But I prefer light handles, so your latest black pvc gem is my favourite

Re: funkysods homebrews

Made myself a diamond, clay-handle series :) Mostly because I've never used one before and I was curious. Seems to be useful and working quite well for both raking and ssp'ing.

Re: funkysods homebrews

Ok guys,

Made a new style handle. These ones has a really nice texture and looks almost stone-like. I discovered them while processing the handles to mirror my previous designs, I simply stopped at this stage. I love the "natural" look and that' s the reason for the texture. Very comfortable to pick with and provides good feedback.

They need to be polished some more.. when I have the time for it!

These are actually now in my everyday toolset (wich is now 100% homebrew).

Everyday carry (ATM):

That's the only thing not made by me, it's from Sparrows. The Tuxedo case. Thanks!

Re: funkysods homebrews

Always eager to see what you'll make next Tobbe. These latest additions are looking fantastic. I especially love that middle one! I'm really actually liking the rough, kinda stone look of those handles too. And, I'll say it again..lol.. I like that middle one! Kind of a primitive, yet elegant look to it... and I'm sure, HIGHLY functional. Love it. Keep up the great work, & PLEASE keep sharing it!

Thank you, appreciate the kind words :) They are all nice to pick with, the middle one is sort of different, angles and curves all new "design". It turned out to be very nice to pick with. As I said, these are tools for everyday use. Next project will probably be more nice lookin oriented. When I have the time, patience and the materials :)

Re: funkysods homebrews

Upgrade for my wallet pickset. A small piece of cable insulation makes the two short picks feel and work like one larger. It really improves the use of the picks. No revolution, I know, but I find it enough to share :)

Set made to order

A set I made to order, nothing fancy.
PVC-clay handles. Just some last minute polishing and then of to be used.
