Back from the post office and all I can say is :
So without further ado:
Oldfast, you remember my question a while ago about the chain?
1 standard S&G military chain (Borrowed from my 833):
+ a Hi Shear:
= An answered question
And in case anybody was curious, here are the pins:
Bottom pins:
1: ARX w/ false gate
2: ARX w/ false gate
3: ARX w/ false gate
4: ARX w/o false gate
5: Regular w/ false gate
6: ARX w/ false gate
Top pins are all regular except number 5. It is a modified mushroom pin. The bottom of it looks like a barrel pin.
And the key: The 5th cut is the highest, and also with the barrel/mushroom pin.
I was going to save the Hi Shear for the end of the post, but I got my package from Wizer today as well annnnnnnnnnnd....ITS AWESOME! He threw in so much more than I was expecting. I really owe him on this one.
An Abloy 3020 padlock, which was the center point of our trade:
What did he surprise me with? A freaking SKULL KEY cut for it! I can honestly say I was more thrilled with this key than the Hi Shear. I had no idea he was including it. Hell, I had no Idea they even made them.
Next up is an Abloy Classic door cylinder. You can rotate the key 360 degrees clockwise, and it has 2 "stops". You insert the key, turn it 270 degrees, it clicks the cam in the back 180 degrees. You rotate the key back 90 degrees and can take it out. Really quite neat.
Keyway to the left:
And to the right:
An Exec door cylinder. Sadly no keys for this one.
An Abloy AVA
Back of key:
In our pms deciding what to trade he said this: "and some other stuff (blanks, discs etc.)..." I am more than suprised.
A tubular switch lock? Was not expecting this at all.
An AVA blank:
Abloy Classic blanks. They all have different designs on the bow. I like the Finnish flag design one
JMA blanks. No clue what these go to
These are really cool, little plastic tags to help keep track of your Classic keys:
And some extra discs and spacers:
And again, a BIG thank you to Wizer, you have absolutely made my week with this.
