New pick templates

Learning from my original template design and the 15 or so picks I've made from them, here is my new set of templates. These are specifically designed to be the correct size for Klein Depthfinder, at .25" in height.

Also, I removed several picks that were superfluous from the first set. For example - there are only 3 hooks - short, medium and long - instead of 9. The idea being that if you want a rounded tip on your medium hook, you don't need really a template to round off the tip of the hook.

I applied this same principle to the rakes - they are very jagged and don't have any smoothing on the curves. if you want your rakes bits to be smoother, simply smooth them out when you make them. In this way, I can make very accurate templates and then taylor the actual pick based on personal preference.

Mathematically, these templates are much more symmetric and accurate than my previous templates - in my design process I employed heavy use of measured guides.

This set also includes half and full single and double ball jigglers for wafer locks, as well as two identical templates for making tension tools, as a filler.

Due to file size and personal preference, I'm hosting the templates on my website. The templates can be found in PDF and PNG format here.

Re: New pick templates

I updated the templates again - same url, just new files. Update make the reach pick a little more reach-y and the king and queen rakes more accurate. I used this image as a guide:

Re: New pick templates

Hopefully final update. Made the hooks a little larger, and changed the shape of the offset diamonds a bit. Fixed a couple of anomalies where the blade meets the grip. Also, changed the second tension tool template.
