Wish I had more time for projects & hobby stuff! It took a tsunami scare to put my life on hold long enough to post these pictures lol.

That is some awesome work, how did you make the pin pad?
Naaapaalm...sticks to kids...it sticks to the belly and it sticks to the ribs...
See those kids standing by the lake...drop some napalm and watch them bake.

Re: Pin pad & Follower

now thats a great pin pad...you've got to let us know how you made it...All I've got is a piece of wood with the grooves cut using a drill on its side to cut into it

Thanks! It's a cheap cutting board that I milled w/ a friends' table top mill.

I wish! If I had my own equipment I would. It's funny, I can afford the equipment, I just can't afford to ship it here lol.

Have you ever tried a router and a square? With the right bits you could make pretty much the same thing.

I was actually thinking of donating this set to the site for auction or whatever HC wants to do with it. So there's a chance!

Thanks for the comments guys. The pictures actually look nicer than the pieces really are, there are a bunch of defects you can't really see. And the laser etching doesn't take well to cutting board lol. Oh, and speaking of etching, I made the mistake of having the plug follower etched before I finished making it ('cause I didn't want to make 2 trips). So I couldn't bling it out after without fragging up the etching. And speaking of the plug follower, I made it out of aluminum 'cause it was cheaper and lighter...but I think it'll scratch too easily in the long run. So I think i'm gonna try find some stainless if I get a chance to make another one. Oh well, live and learn!
