Lock Collections

i would like to see people posting shots of their collections, along with a legend or numbered list so others dont have to ask "what kind of lock is the third one from the left?" or
whatever.
is this a good idea?
i think so.

Re: Lock Collections

Oh lawdy. I'll have to wait on this one. I've got too many, unorganized, all sloshing around in two drawers. One has my really old, and one has my not so old. No way in hell could I try to inventory it as of yet. :P

Re: Lock Collections

Hehe, yeah, I'll have to. I've got a whole door system what uses bit keys. I ganked it from somewhere around here I think. It was being thrown out or something. Not sure. Then, I've got like an old Bike lock. I know the types of keys that go in them, just don't have ones to fit. Myself, I'd like to get some basic blanks and have my way with them until I get some sort of working key. I don't honestly care if it's tight to the lock or not. It's not like I'm giving it away. :P

Re: Lock Collections

Ray, if you don't mind me calling you that, the Yale in the mix... Oh.. Wait... Let me give some directions first. :P The Yale next to the Adjustable Shackle Brinks and the black and green K one that I can't quite read, got any info on that. I've got the same lock with a shorter shackle and no dice on it. Mind helping me out? I got it in a box of locks from some dude's attic and I've yet to be able to pick it. If it's the same, then you know that the keyway is just bonkers and really funky. So yeah, any info would kick ass!

In the mean time, I'll stalk your Youtube videos to see if you posted one on it already.
