The puller is kinda based on a dent puller design.

that's awesome, nice job

The epick does a great job. Haven't come across a lock it won't unlock yet. Light tension as with a lot of lockpicking is the key.

Thats awesome, how does that puller work?
Re: Kwikset plug puller and e-pick
yes that is very nice!
Re: Kwikset plug puller and e-pick
The puller works much the same way a dent puller or slam hammer works. There is a weight with a hole bored through it and a long bolt run through it. Force the weight back very quickly and its impact on the bolt head pops the face of the lock out of the housing. It works great. I had a hell of a time grinding the key and shim to just the right width. Too narrow and the teeth of the key would bend and allow the key out. Too thick and you couldn't get the shim in.

WOW,bet the puller works everytime, dang, bet you could destroy alock with that. Not that I into that, there is always thelast resort. Kicks the crap out of my puller, mine is a A1.Which brings me to why I wrote, the A1 keyblade has a deep 90 degree cut in the second space from bow,It's made of steel also, then you use a hook pick to get it out.I see why you use the 2 cuts now, brass is weaker.Oh well I tryed to help,Im gonna make both of these, I been eye ballen the B+D at wallyworld for a year now I see it would work.
Re: Kwikset plug puller and e-pick
I made a Kwikset puller myself. It's like the one with the Pvc coller you've probably seen. It works great. And soooo much cheaper than store-bought.

Can you tell me or show me how you have the pin mounted on the scissor blade? I've got the same setup, but the smallest nut+bolt I could get would only allow me to mount it to the blade externally and as a result it looks sloppy as hell and I feel it doesn't work as well as it could.
