HIGH SECURITY WAFER LOCK I.D. help??
here is a solid stainless hi-sec wafer lock.
(possibly a Curtis & Taylor.)
.(i have seen these on parking meters and gumball machines...)
can anyone I.D. the lock?
i need to know exactly whats going on in there..
the keys are amazingly thick...there are two notches in the side milling of the key on the left...
the lock went into a full mm of a false, leading me to believe there may be a sidebar present.
a steel pin retains the solid steel plug,so i haven't looked inside yet.
upon further inspection, peering down the keyway,it appears there are 3 independent sets of wafers....two mate with the notches...then an upper and lower set of wafers...wow!
the key can be removed in the unlocked or locked position.
