i generally make them to order..if you are genuinely interested in a set,or a single, just PM me when you have some cash "kicking around"
and i will make them.../ it ..
try to keep in mind they take about 3-4 hrs each to make, and minimum wage is 10 bux an hr...

barbarian wrote:I bought this set of picks from awol70 just before Christmas. I've gotta say they are great picks. The picks are perfectly polished and the handles are very nice. They feel nice when you use them. I have some other picks from several other expert pick makers and these are of the same quality.
I'm a bit embarrassed to say, but I could never rake a lock. I could SPP using a rake, but I just couldn't seem to rake the darn thing. I read a pile of material, saw videos, and tried many times, once in a while I could use a city rake like a jiggler, but I was really SP picking using the wrong tool. When I got these tools, I also watched and downloaded (thank you) the video about raking. viewtopic.php?f=58&t=1125
Now I can rake. Frikking amazing. I tried a couple of locks that were tough to SPP. They rake easy, now that I know how. Pretty much all of the "don't do this" is what I was doing.
I am digging out all my old locks and raking them... HaHa I like it a lot.
After a someone learns a few basics and decides it's time to get serious, I would recommend this set of picks. I see posts from guys that have a cheap set for starting out. They can pick all the locks they have and want to know where to go next. They should consider buying these. The picks look good, work good, and last forever. What more could you ask for ?
Any negative side you ask ? Not really. I did add a small tension wrench I find fits well in the tighter keyways.
Thanks to awol70 for the video.
Thanks to awol70 for the picks.
Thanks to awol70 for teaching me how to rake a lock from 3000 miles away.
