Best/Falcon Cores

I have an opportunity to buy 24 various Interchangable cylinders without keys for $140.

Do you think this is a good deal.

I might offer him $120.

Re: Best/Falcon Cores

5 bucks a core? Not bad but when you factor in the time to rekey them all it may not be worth it.

Re: Best/Falcon Cores

You can find them on ebay for half that, quite often less. I saw a bunch of various keyway Best SFICs sell for as little as $0.50 each in the last couple of day.

Re: Best/Falcon Cores

I just spent $160 on 24 IC cylinders, 3 of which I don't know what key fits it.

But I also got 2 Sargent mortise cylinders, one was an IC with no Control Key.
4 Rim Cylinders, 2 Mortise cylinders, and 2 key-in-knob cylinders.

I think I should stop buying from this guy, lol.

Re: Best/Falcon Cores

Chief, if you are buying to supply your business I would suggest Mains Lock Supply. His website is iccore.com he is probably the single most knowledgeable person on earth when it comes to I/C

His prices are also very reasonable.

Re: Best/Falcon Cores

Did someone mention Sargent? :D
Randy's site is iccores.com; iccore.com goes to KSP.

Re: Best/Falcon Cores

Randy is a great source. He even has non-SFIC stuff, I needed a housing for a Medeco LFIC and he had them for a very reasonable price.
