Stick in an exotic key?

Re: Fastkey Vending Machine take a look

All the Lowes home improvement stores around here are going to a similar machine called "minute key". I've never used one but I've heard that keys from that machine are more reliable than the ones cut by a Lowes employees. Sometimes the employees will even send people from their counter to the minute key machine because they don't want to/don't know how to cut keys

Re: Fastkey Vending Machine take a look

Have to check out the local Wally World and see if they have one. May have to get an employee to help me if the machine can't copy a KESO.

Re: Fastkey Vending Machine take a look

I can not be positive until I try it but I have heard that this machine will "read" the key and gauge the nearest cut and code cut the new key. I have recently been handed duplicates made by these things and they were all fresh looking keys. I asked one customer how well it worked and he said better than his original. I will have to take a worn key to one of these things and they it out.

Some people play video games for entertainment. Some people play slot machines for fun. We play... Fastkey machines.

Re: Fastkey Vending Machine take a look

The Lowes by my house has one, called insta- key or minute key. Apparently cuts transponder car keys too! I need to stick a Best or something in there and see what it does. Maybe a Primus!

Re: Fastkey Vending Machine take a look

Here is my compensation test I did this afternoon. My pics tell the story... :( Go ahead and throw away your Do Not Duplicate Stamps!
This machine does small cabinet keys- auto transponder keys and house and commercial. Say goodbye to auto security don't let anyone borrow your car they can make keys for it without any I.D.
