Password safe is loussy

Just found out that my safe is less secure than butter in the sun.

And the key, yeah the lossy key that a three years old child could pick.
The question, has anyone modded their safe to be more secure? and how in that case?
whats the best lock I can buy that is pretty hard to pick?

If that's the *cough* "safe" *cough* you are working with. You'd be better off replacing it with something that at a minimum has 1/4" steel body. And even that's not much of a safe. If you want a real safe look for one with a UL TL-15 or better rating.
If you really want to upgrade your box. Put a hasp and padlock on it.

Just saw that you are in Sweden. UL is an American safety consulting and certification company. I don't know what safe certifications to look for in Sweden.

I think the cert is called "EN" i europe.
Gonna replace it in the future, just wanted a quick fix up haha =)

I wouldn't call this a safe , more of a lunchbox.
These come with a number of different brand names , but all the same electronics.
They rarely take me longer than a minute to open.
Even if you struggle to pick them (some come with tubular locks) , you can acces the reset button through the mounting holes.

Its with a tubular lock that is very easy to pick open =(

If you want a safe, look for something with at least Euro 1 category. It allows 10 kEUR to be stored in and has some actual protection to it rather than those cheap sardine cans that your current one is.

I had one of those "safes" that I used just to keep people from tapering with my things.
My coworker had opened it for a customer, and they decided they wanted to upgrade, so I removed the old lock, drilled a hole, and added a tubular lock that would block the linkage inside. It still had the old holes in it, but it worked to keep my things from walking off.
I'll look to see if I have some photos of it

Thanks for your idea (blocking the mechanism) I did this today
The camlock is to long, this is just a test that did work great for my expensive lunchbox =)
(the lock is under the turning stuffie) haha my english is bad, sorry =P
Does anyone have a used camlock laying around cheap? (location scandinavia) a decent hard picking one...

Here's what I did. Again it's not a safe, but it works. I could have covered the old holes, but they didn't really bother me.

That was a good upgrade =)
I got two locks now, but the orginal pinlock is crap.
