Having a bit of trouble with a Hoppe Multi point lock.
Short story, the door is closed and locked.
cannot be opened from either side.
one sided Euro cylinder C.E.S. (thumb turn on inside).
Need to open the door to fix or replace parts.
What's the best way to open the door with the least amount of damage. None of the locking points are retracting.
The euro cylinder seems to be fine. Moves from locked to unlocked position.
The door handle will not rotate far enough to retract latches.

Didn't take any photos while I was on site.
The lock in this video is similar.

1. remove door handle -
2. check if there is a second spindle hole - in gearing usually above used to retract - points rollers - hooks
3. break - snap the cylinder and remove now with a L WIRE insert to catch the back of the slide gear
4. wind door over on hinges if adjustable - force wire Z shaped to catch locking points - pulling up or down to retract

can be a pig of a job - but do able

I just didn't see any way to fix this omelet without breaking a few eggs.

This will give you a idea - how a standard multipoint lock gear works - internals

note second spindle - cam comes in handy and sometimes interchangeable if bottom one is broken - not always fitted

using a strong L - SHAPED WIRE on slide mech will move gearing if you catch it in the right place lock cylinder removed

centre boxes can be purchased - saves buying the entire gear and usually the spindle cam is the problem - monkey metal

handle pushed up to lock - down to unlock so downward force on that wire 7-11 as a rule if using a Z wire like mine

Glad I came to the right place to ask.
Not having replacement parts, I left the door locked in place.
Will measure and have to order replacement parts.
Then go back and remove the old broken lock. Re-install new.
What a pain.

No problem buddy - 5 mins turns into 5 hours job - nightmare

The composite - wood doors are the best from the inside when spindle -or handle is not retracting locking bolts
as you don't have to work round the L SHAPED door frame - ON OUTSIDE with Z wire to force bolt works to move
a slim jim or flat piece of metal inserted - works well !! but its never the case

as the parts take awhile to arrive - part number on gear box - fit a emergency cut down centre gear box
min two service call charges - and parts and stress your worth it

Been some time ago, but this may help if you run across the same problem.
If you remove the trim from both sides and know where to drill a small hole, you can avoid breaking the cylinder as I had to do.
The hole will be under the trim, so wont be visible when done. I would patch and paint anyways.
You are trying to find that black button in the red box. Just need to move it up and it will unlock the deadbolt, letting you slide the bolt back manually.
Measure and locate by finding it on your replacement part.
