Casio Cash Register

Trying to salvage a Casio cash register for the store but it's missing the key so any help will be appreciated. I'm just typing this up now so I don't have to wrestle with typing and posting the whole thread on my phone when I get into work this morning.
Model numbers and pics will be forthcoming in a couple of hours once the boss brings it in. i will be taking an assortment of blanks, precuts and impressioning and opening tools. If that fails I'm hoping someone can identify the keyway and associated blanks or have info on how to acquire the correct key as I'd hate to have to toss the register when we could put it to good use.
Not sure if the control key (if it has one) is in the drawer either. Any advice before I tackle it would help.

if it has a blind code i can look it up... also let us know the manufacturer when u get there.
i definitely have seen on eBay some cash register keys that are KA, but i can't remember any of the brands... National maybe? i dunno.
i do have to say that the cash registers at the grocery store i worked at in college used crappy locks, but maybe a casino used better stuff.

Hey Mac it's a Casio as in the calculator company not casino. You trying to get the feds on my ass LOL. I'm gonna say it's probably a KA/coded machine as I believe most similar model cash registers are. I'll get more info when I can maybe I can get her to MMS a photo of it and I'll post it up.
So I hauled my whole damn tool box to the store all 40+ pounds of it plus a whole whack of blanks and precuts figuring it would give me something to do between customers only to find out Lisa forgot to bring it in. So this project is on hold for now.
Oh I'll give some background on the store as you guys are probably scratching your heads going WTF he's a contractor what's he doing in a store. Things have slowed down a bit so I am helping a friend out with her store which is a Pawn Shop type deal figuring I could get the word out I collect locks and the customers might bring me something interesting (hasn't happened yet). Anyway she's been using an old cash drawer in an unsecured drawer in the counter. So I'm trying to get the cash register up and running so we have something a bit more secure to keep the cash in.
I picked up a couple days work on a maintenance job so I won't get onto the cash register till the weekend now (If she remembers to bring it in or drop it off) I'll update with more info when I can.

most of the cash drawer locks are cheap wafer locks on those cheap registers. (Casio, Sharp, Samsung, etc) They usually only have 3-4 wafers in them, shouldn't be hard to pick. as for the switch "key", they are just stamped metal, a small screwdriver will likely turn it, plus those keys are all the same for a certain manufacturer. It's when you get into the ones at large retail stores, or cash drawers in banks that you come across some with real locks, like 3-4 pin tumbler locks. The old ones used lever keys too. Have you tried the "secret" drawer release on the bottom? it's a metal tab that you slide to open it, if it's fully locked, it might not work though.
