Having a bit of trouble with the installation of Codelock CL390.
Has anyone installed one?
The issue is that every time I tighten the two mounting(Fixing) bolts, the thumb turn on the inside binds and wont return to the 12 o clock position.
When I loosen the screws enough that the lock functions, the lock does not seem to be securely fitted to the door.
All mounting holes correct location.
Alignment with the spindle and the bolt good.
Have installed and re-installed three times.
When the lock is not installed, it functions great.
The lock is double sided(cylinder and push buttons).
Problem only occurs on the inside lock.
Problem only happens when mounting screws are in and tight.

Quote from instructions:

DO NOT CLOSE THE DOOR UNTIL YOU ARE SURE THAT
THE CODE WORKS. DO NOT over tighten the fixing bolts
as this may cause distortion and lead to poor operation.

Is there a spec for door thickness?

The lock was supplied with the adjustable( snap off ) screws.
Cut off or snap screws to fix your door size.
Door is 1 3/4 inch.
No visible signs of mounting screws being to long. As in deformation of lock case.

As it Stand now,
The lock works and the home is secure.
I am trying to avoid getting called back to tighten the mounting screws every 6 months.
Thinking about double sided mounting tape behind lock case to prevent the slipping and Locktite on the threads to keep the screws from backing out.

To me it sound like your mounting isn't square and perpendicular to the latch
But i could be wrong

But if it is as you left it, do as you said doublesided tape and locktite

Thanks,
Seems as if all is well with the lock now.
No call back to adjust it. Guess there is a fine line between tight and Over tight.
