Best picked to control cylinder stuck

I finally picked my old mean best padlock this thing gives no feedback but after 1 year it's picked to controll but the cylinder will not com out . Do any of you guys know what is up with this core I tried turning it with a screw driver to see if it was picked to the operating line it is stuck at 15 % . :twisted:

Its just stuck in there. It tends to happen. Try getting a junky pick behind some of the pins to try and get more leverage to pull it out.

sounds like the core is just stuck, most likely was never removed since the day it was put in. basically have to get something in the keyway carefully as to not reset the pins, hook something and pull hard! :)

There is some play front to back like a millimeter it is loose but I can feel the lug catching on the side .

Hmm, if it is picked to control then it will come out. If the lug is catching then just pull harder? :P I have had some that I nearly needed to use pliers to pull out.

It is out **** me hardest lock to date I stuck american bypass in the key way and pulled with vicegrips flew out hit the floor and locked . I am looking in the hole and it has 30 years worth of shit in it . You guys were right more leverage I was picking with a short hook and sparrows tension wrench then switched to a city rake bam it turned . I couldn't beleve it I have been trying with my Peterson sfic wrenches for months.

When the cylinder hit the floor 2 of th top caps came out and it locked and I am so dam pleased it has a Hugh tail peace and is a 6 pin cylinder And a weird tab that opens the shackle .

No pics I have a god dam Mac I can't for the life of me figure out posting pics. its big patinaed dark with large un colored best logo and initials on the outer is beat up a little but has a full dark patina.
