Here is a Sargent and Greenleaf 831 B-M-1 military padlock with a 6 pin Medeco biaxial cylinder. The lock was won of ebay with no key so I had to pick it and custom mill a Medeco biaxial key to fit the lock. When the operating key is turned the locking cam rotates out of the grooves on the shackle and the lock opens. The control key is an operating key with the top and bottom shoulders removed.

How did you mill out a key to make it fit your warding? Did you use a Framon type high security duplicator to mill it with or what? It looks great.

Thanks, I used an ESP 339C Sidewinder Duplicator as a mill to fit the key to the lock.

That's a nice lock huh, I was lucky enough to get a brand new 831 B-M-1 of eBay with 2 operating and 1 control key.
I haven't been able to put it down since i got it.

AWESOME! i just got one yesterday. ive been looking at lots of pix cause i only have the control key, but i have a few medeco cylinders with keys laying around. i was wondering if it would be possible to machine the back of a regular medeco KIK cylinder to fit the 831 cam??

what do you guys think??
